Compiled TCL

Hi Guys,
It is my understanding that TCL "compiles" its code for later use.
I use TCL/TK embedded into a C program and wonder if it is possible to
"load" pre-compiled tcl scripts into the interpreter?
If it is possible how can I extract the compiled scripts so that they can be
saved and loaded at a later time? Obviously I need to know how to load them
into the interpreter as well.
