Ok, thanks Don. This is an important point.


I've been looking at the "Blob" command in


"Practical Programming in Tcl and Tk (4th ed)",


and I think this approach will get me 90% there,


(w.r.t. handling my C structure data).


Thank you for clarifying the issue with new Tcl Object


types.
