But this is not the fault of the core team. In this case you filed the
bug to the wrong people. This is Microsoft's bug. Personally I find
that if something is not supported by your OS or window manager it
means that the OS designers never anticipated them. In which case the
fact that one feels that one needs such a feature is a sign of one's
deep misunderstanding of basic concepts of the window manager. Going
against such concepts will end up confusing the user and that is indeed
a bad thing.

Note that directory nesting is also an OS/filesystem limitation. So
even if you write for Unix you have to be careful not to have deep
directories on FAT32.
