Re: Is there some introduction of all above

Back in the good old days, O'Reilly published a book called "Tcl/Tk
Tools", which was a series of discussions about a variety of
extensions.

A little later, Tcl/Tk in a Nutshell, also by O'Reilly, was published.
It had brief discussions of the extensions.

Alas, neither of these have been kept up to date.

These days, the best source of summary is http://wiki.tcl.tk/ .
If there's an extension missing, ask either here or in the chat room
and there is generally someone around who can help. Also, some of the
developers of extensions write an introduction to their code.
