Update: perl's Net::Telnet didn't work when connecting to my local


machine's telnet daemon. Line-by-line copying resulted in errors and


slurping and printing invariably seemed to hang. However, both


line-by-line copy and slurping worked when I connected to a remote


machine... go figure. Now the only thing that doesn't work is the


ftp-inband script in its current state :(



Can I somehow force flushing of whatever goes through "send"?
