One of the participants in this thread wrote me privately
that, "Perhaps man Tcl should reflect this", where "this"
refers to the source-code comment which begins, "The name
of the variable can have three forms ..."

'Anyone have a concrete suggestion for a change to `man
Tcl`, or a good place on the Wiki to work this out?
