What a about the general ability to attach a comment to ones changes.
Not more than 20 chars in the general vein of

spelling fixed,url dead, url fixed, comment, news, correction, ...

typed or selected from menu
and displaying these together with ip/name in the changelog and the
"recent changes" page ( possibly omitting the spelling fixes.)
