Well, let's go backwards at this. First, there's nothing more you need
to do to use expr's math functions.

So, it probably is a bug - you might want to report it over at
http://tcl.sf.net/ just to
be certain that was fixed.

Note that both patchlevel reports indicate that what you are using are
the alpha versions of tcl, which are sometimes vulnerable to the
effects of new code (such as large integer support).
