The soluble wax transfer things? Our teacher used those heavily!

There should be no real hurdle to interface one of these laptops to
an oldstyle teletype maschine. The Siemens S100 and contemporarys
teletypes could be easily fitted with a crank as well.

A Matrix "Needle" printer should work as well.
