SOnicWall SOHO3 VPN Error

Hi,

 I have 2 offices, both with independent internet access and a
SonicWall SOHO3. I happily run a VPN between these with ips 192.0.0.*
and 192.0.1.* and all external traffic is blocked.

But this means if the VPN at site 1.1.1.1 goes down I can't vnc,rdp,
radmin to 2.2.2.2 as the firewall rules disallow it. But if I add an
access rule to SOHO3 at 1.1.1.1 allowing access from ip 2.2.2.2 then
the VPN link goes down anyway.

Is this a SOHO3 limitation (i.e. access rules cannot be set for VPN
gateway) or are there some advanced settings which need making.

Any help will be appreciated.
