After I posted my message, I found the DonHoover page
about a clean uninstall, deleting all the files, etc.,
and did that. I still had the 5.5.094 installation
file, so I reinstalled it. Now *it* also won't work
with my wireless. The wireless adapter used to have no
problem getting an IP address from the Linksys router;
now it won't.
