Perf probs on DSL with new SPI firewall

Hi guys,

I just bought at home a Netgear FR114P Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall.
I'm having serious performance issues with it. I don't know if it is a DNS
problem or what. The firewall rules allow everthing out on the outbound. It
takes up to a minute somethimes even more to load web pages. The problem
seams to be at the connection stage. Once the connection is done properly,
the data starts to flow normally.

I don't have the problem when put back the old router (linksys BEFR41). I
really don't get it.

Any idea?
