Then it's obvious that the personal FW solution is not gateway FW solution.
If it were a gateway FW solution, then I would think there would be two
NIC's in the gateway computer one connected to the modem an Internet/WAN
facing NIC and the other NIC would be the LAN facing NIC with the host based
gateway FW solution being able to filter packets between the WAN and LAN.
