Only for the first copy. The problem is to ensure that they
get paid for all copies.

That depends on how long anonymous addresses stay anonymous.

RIAA is a cartel whose members should be sent to jail.

The recording industry is actually the plastic disk
manufacturing industry. The recording studios normally have
different owners are and charge the *musicians* for the recording
session.

A recording contract is an agreement by the plastic disk
manufactures to:
a. lend the musicians money; normally at a secret (i.e. usurious)
    rate of interest.
b. to have a monopoly to make and distribute the plastic disks.
c. to pay a musicians a few cents per plastic disk sold, the first
royalties going to pay off the loan.

The plastic disk manufactures have nothing to do with internet
distribution but would still like to be given money for it.

Movies are more complex because they include actors, singers,
dancers, musicians plus lots of technical people like cameramen
and makeup girls.
