Other posters have already raised the question of why you're looking
for thesis topics in sci.crypt rather than asking your supervisor or
relying on your own interests; so I'll just offer a topic and a reason.

Solving sparse systems of linear equations with factoring-sieve
structure over Z_2.

The current methods utilize the sparsity, but not the fact that we're
operating over Z_2 or the structure of the matrix (all the columns have
the same density, but the earlier columns are far denser than the later
columns). I think these provide room for improvement.
