Ok, I've probably tripped myslelf up through a dodgy understanding of
"random". I'll go back and cogitate.

But I still believe that my reply to the OP contained at least some
truth! The OP seemed to be saying, that his new version of his RNG had
a very long cycle, so it should be ok for crypto. I just quoted a silly
generator which clearly had an enormously long cycle, but just as
clearly would not be any good for crypto. Do you at least agree with
that?
